It’s 26 F outside this morning and everything is covered in frost. It looks like the summer weather we had for the last week has finally left us. I don’t have any cravings for alcohol this morning, so that’s good. This is also the fourth day in a row I will be sticking to a vegan diet. Thanksgiving is coming up, so that may be a challenge, but I think I can handle that if we stay close to home and avoid the holiday traffic.
Yesterday was a busy day for us. I took Dad to his doctor visit and then we dropped the car off at the dealer for recall service. I spent about an hour making a good dinner for us and then cleaning up after. I ended up falling asleep at about nine-thirty and slept through the night.
I think I will be taking a break from YouTube today, as I spend far too much time on that site watching random videos and trying to learn health-related things from absolute morons. I listened to some podcasts on diet and exercise last night, and this morning I have been reading some articles. I need to concentrate more on my writing than on watching the same shit over and over again and getting stupider by osmosis.
I have an appointment with the nurse this morning for my injection, then I don’t have to go back to that clinic for three months. I wish I had the money they spend on injecting me instead of the meds, but hey, that will never happen. The way it is the government is spending more on my treatment every year than I have ever made in a year, and I am basically a zombie whose only joy is getting drunk. All that has to change. I am on a new path now where I take care of my health and stay away from toxic substances.
It’s time for my morning cabbage smoothie. Eight ounces of red cabbage, an ounce of vinegar, and 12 ounces of cold water all blended up into a smoothie. Lots of natural vitamin C, plenty of fiber, phytochemicals, and the goodness of health all in two glasses of foam. Then I will get my bowl of pea soup with some cayenne and perhaps a banana, all for my vegan breakfast. I will be back later today to write more.
