Morning Glories

Rogue Morning Glory

I planted some morning glory seeds about three years ago in my window box. They set seed and sowed themselves for the last couple years. Last year I got a few of these strange looking flowers, as well as some deep blue ones.

Midnight Blue

This year the varmints ate down my first flourish of morning glory vines. They came back after about a month, and I have nothing but these dark blue ones with a star in them. I had the white ones with a purple star for a couple years, and even some reds last year, but I didn’t photograph them. This year I think I will save the seeds inside and plant them out next year and see what I get. I never was much of a plant breeder, but flowers seem to like me.
